A Christmas Carol is a 1980 holiday film based on the novel of the same name by Charles Dickens about a man named Ebenezer Scrooge who hates Christmas. Therefore, the ghost of his deceased work partner Jacob Marley shows up at his house and warns him that if Scrooge doesn't change his ways, he will end up facing the consequences. Scrooge gets haunted by three ghosts that represent time (The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, and The Ghost of Christmas Future) in order to prevent that from happening and his life taking a dramatic turn. The film was released on VHS in November 1981, and was first released on DVD on July 27, 1999 to commemorate "Christmas in July". The film was also re-released on DVD on December 7, 2010 to commemorate the film's 30th Anniversary, the film had also made it's debut on Blu-ray Disc that same day.
