The House of the Dead 7 is a 2011 horror film about husband and wife AMS agents Rogan and Sophie Thomas, who are assigned by their commander to stop a mad man named Dan Cruisade from causing a zombie apocalypse. The film begins with Rogan and his fellow AMS agent Robert Sander investigating a crisis which involved a rodent infestation a local bar in Brooklyn, in which some unsuspecting rats had made their way into the building and began attacking and biting customers and bartenders, who became ill and were put in the hospital. What they didn't realize was that the rats were actually infected with a killer virus that can cause living humans to turn into zombies. The rats were unleased by an evil bio-technician named Dan Cruisade, who with a mental illness has dreams of causing serious destruction in the world. While recovering in the hospital, the infected patients from the sports bar began to twitch and reanimate as zombies as they kill nurses and doctors in their path. Meanwhile, Cruisade begins to create some of his own zombies as the Evil Spirit from the three previous films returns to create some monsters and killer mutants to go with it. Rogan and his wife Sophie (who is also an AMS agent) are given the case by their boss Ernest Goldman, who instructs them to take down the zombies before it's too late. They eventually track down Cruisade to a suburban house way up north in St. Lawrence County, New York where an outbreak of zombies has occurred and spilled out into the neighborhood. The film ends with Cruisade being killed along with some zombies as the house is destroyed with a missle fired by the goverment. The undead wandering around the neighborhood are eventually taken down completely by Rogan, Sophie, and the local authorites. A light gun arcade game adaption based on the film was developed by Sega and was released for the arcade only in August 2011.
